1. Unifi netis brand

The following shows an Interface based on Unifi router

  1. Launch Web Browser and enter the default’s gateway’s IP address (192.168.1.1) in the address bar.
  1. Enter Username and Password. Username = tmadmin Password = Adm@xxxx (xxxx refers to last four digits of MAC address)
  1. Choose WLAN -> wlan0 (2.4GHz) Basic Setting. Note down on SSID.
  1. Choose WLAN -> wlan1 (5GHz). Compare SSID with previous SSID.
  1. If SSID for wlan0 (2.4GHz) and wlan1 (5GHz) are the same. Change wlan1 (5GHz) SSID by adding number 5(i.e. ifuni_5G) to differentiate from 2.4 GHz. Click Apply Changes.

2. TM Unifi – TP Link Mesh Router

The following shows an Interface based on TP Link Deco Mesh Router

  1. Connect to your TP Link Deco Wi-Fi and launch Deco app
  1. Tap on “more”
  1. Tap on Wi-Fi
  1. By default, 2.4GHz and 5GHz is switch on and Guest Network is switch off, tap on 5GHz radio button to disable and tap on Guest Network to switch it on
  1. Under Guest Network, tap on 2.4GHz switch button to disable 2.4GHz
  1. Scroll down and tap on Network Name (SSID)
  1. Fill in necessary info and click Save once done.
  1. Connect your Ultra Box to either one of Network Name (SSID)

3. Maxis – Airties Mesh Router

The following shows an Interface based on Air Ties Mesh Router:

  1. Connect to your AirTies Wi-Fi and launch AirTies Wi-Fi app
  1. Tap on “My Network”
  1. Tap on device that connect to main router
  1. Tap on “Advanced Details” and note down IP Address displayed in the app.
  1. Launch Web Browser and enter the AirTies’ IP address based on previous step in the address bar.
  2. Click ADVANCED SETTINGS > WIRELESS > Advanced Setup
  1. On WLAN 1(5 GHz), take note on Primary SSID which Ultra Box connected
  1. On WLAN 1(2.4 GHz), take note on Primary SSID which Ultra Box connected
  1. Change WLAN 1(5 GHz) by adding letter 5 to differentiate from 2.4 GHz
  1. Scroll down and click Save
