Astro Smart Card Error Messages
ASTRO SMART CARD ERROR MESSAGES (Legacy DMT)

The following are the common error messages pertaining to Astro Smart Cards and troubleshooting steps on resolving the issue.

No.  Error Message on TV Screen  DMT Front Panel Display  Legacy DMT 
 1 Please insert your Smart Card

Please insert your Astro Smart Card (1)
Channel Number
  1. Make sure SMC is in the correct slot, SLOT 1
  2. Remove and clean the SMC, with a clean and soft cloth
  3. Re-insert the Smart Card gently into the appropriate slot with the gold chip facing up
  4. Power reset and wait for 30 seconds
  5. If problem still persists, please send an email to wecare@astro.com.my for assistance
 2 Please insert the correct Astro Smart Card Channel Number

 3 Please insert the correct Astro Smart Card or call Astro’s Customer Service for assistance 0.0.0.0

 5 Your Smart Card is inactive

Your Smart Card is inactive. Please call Astro’s Customer Service to activate (6)
